Not only does it work much better on a large screen, we’ve also made it such that you can switch the layout dynamically on any device to the “TV” style (under Application Layout in settings).
The new app runs fine on the Google TV, but we wanted to take some time to make it feel really great on big-screen devices in general, so we’ve been working hard on some updates to that end.
